Due to the high requests for a blog post on this topic, I decided to make it.
How to stay fit, healthy, and on track while being in school, working a job, and still managing to have somewhat of a social life, weather it'd be online or in real life.
Lets get to it.
1) Meal Prep

This is probably the most important part of staying healthy, fit, and being vegan.
I always pack, plan, and make my meals a day before I go to work or school. Food prices at schools or at work are usually overpriced and perhaps don't have vegan options you crave or want. So make sure you always plan ahead and pack food with you in a lunch bag with some ice packs. And also make sure to bring extra snacks for emergencies. Never go hungry and never be stuck with what you don't want or unhealthy options.
2) Make a planner

Always keep track of your assignments, work schedule, and for grocery shopping, studying, gym time, or some down time just for yourself. Always know what's going on, not when it's happening, but before it happens. It's how you stay focused and keeps your head in the game.
3) Do your workout first thing in the morning

Do your workout first thing when you wake up. And do whatever suits you best. Not only does working out in the morning leave with extra time during the day but you feel more aware, focused, and satisfied during your day knowing you've completed your workout and have your adrenaline and endorphines going, which increases energy levels and happy emotions; making getting work and school done faster and easier.
4) Get the right amount of sleep

With a busy and sometime hectic schedule, it can be hard to go to bed on time. But if you follow the first three tips I gave you, you will be on top of your game and will have time to get your 7-8 hours every night. Make sure to wind down before bed and stay away from distractions at night about an hour before you're getting ready to hit the hay. If you have sleeping issues, try doing night time yoga, sleeping with a background noise, and listening to soft music.
5) Don't forget to let lose

Too often in life we forget that we're supposed to be living, not just breathing, and not just surviving. Give yourself a break when needed. Go to a concert, rock out to music, go on a road trip to the beach, to the woods, to the city, or go without a destination. Eat a spontaneous meal or treat with some friends or by yourself watching netflix. Go out with friends to the park, to the mall, to sporting events, or just have dance party at your house. Take naps, go hiking, take pictures, and live in the moment, even if your following my tips. Don't forget to love yourself and life deeply and make every moment worth you while. I hope you enjoyed my school/work life hacks, put them to use.
