I've been getting some DM's on how to eat on-the-go as a vegan but also staying as healthy as possible. Here are someone of my tips for newcomers to the vegan lifestyle, vegans in school, and vegans who want new ideas.
Tip #1
HEALTHY SNACKS TO BY FOR ON-THE-GO
Some of my top picks are
-Larabars
-Clif Bars
-Luna Bars
-Curate Bars
-Instant Oats w/ Bottled Water, to heat on-the-go
-Bottled Smoothies or Protein Shakes (Naked Juice, Bolthouse Farms, etc)
-Granola Bars
-Fruit (Bananas, Apples, Blueberry, Cherry, Rasberry, and Blackberry Containers)
-Breakfast Biscuits
-Hummus & Pretzel/Cracker Containers
-Salsa/Guacamole Snack Packs
-Packaged Pretzels, Chips, Crackers...
There is much more you can buy from so many different brands, just explore!
Tip #2
PACK THE NIGHT BEFORE
If you don't have time in the morning like I do, I always pack a day before I know I'll be at school, at work, or just not home all day. Here's a few examples:
ON-THE-GO LUNCH

ON-THE-GO BREAKFAST

Tip #3
MEAL PREP FOR THE WEEK
There are plenty of bulk recipes you can find online. This is a website I use when I need to cook in bulk, which is very rare. http://www.findingvegan.com/
Tip #4
HEALTHY VEGAN FAST FOOD OPTIONS
If you're on a road trip, commuting, or working certain hours, you simply may not have time to meal prep, prepare meals the nights before, or even go grocery shopping on time before the week starts. Perhaps you woke up late, got called in early or don't have time to sit and eat. Here's a few fast food joints who have tons of vegan options.
-Starbucks (SEE MY BLOG POST ON HOW TO ORDER VEGAN AT STARBUCKS)
-Panera
-Subway
-Chipotle
-Taco Bell
-Del Taco
-Gas Stations carries a ton of vegan things and things you probably enjoy.
These may not be the cleanest, healthiest options to chose from, but life if life. And they places cater to the vegan lifestyle while still having somewhat decent nutritional value, calories, and choices.
I hope you enjoyed,
